Our vineyards are located in Kelseyville, California in the highly acclaimed Red Hills – Lake County appellation. We are on the eastern side of the Mayacamas at an altitude of 2200 – 2300 ft.

The rocky volcanic soil combined with a near perfect micro-climate produces fully ripened intense flavored fruit. An extreme diurnal swing (the temperature difference between the hottest and coolest time of the day) allows the fruit to preserve its natural acidity even at extreme ripeness. The results are exceptionally well balanced varietally intense wines.

One of the most important aspects in planting a vineyard is to match the variety to the site. With this in mind we started planting Malbec, Petit Sirah and Petit Verdot in 1997.
